Logan Echolls
Logan Echolls is a lot of things: snarky, sarcastic, the "obligatory psychotic jackass" as once described by Veronica, a prestigious 09er, and yes, even caring. He is the son of a movie star, his best friend is Duncan Kane, and he shares an on-again, off-again, love-hate relationship with Veronica Mars. On the outside, Logan is a badass, but he hides the fact that he is both physically and verbally abused by his father. At his father's hands, he has been whipped with a belt, burned with cigarettes and suffered a broken nose. His life was turned upside-down when Lily was murdered, again when his mom committed suicide, and yet again when it was revealed that his own father had murdered Lily (after having an affair with her).
